Will Insurance cover my Cranial Prosthetics?

Cranial Prosthetics and some hair replacement items may be covered by your Health Care FSA, HSA, or HRA. We can provide you a receipt with the proper medical codes for you to submit for reimbursement. You can contact your employer or HR department for specific information on your coverages, or ask us with any further questions. We are happy to help you!

How do I receive my receipt for reimbursement?

Your balance must be paid in full to receive the proper receipt for reimbursement.

Who communicates with the Insurance Company?

We do not participate with any health insurance plans directly. You are responsible for knowing your coverage, communicating with your insurance, and submitting any necessary paperwork. We are happy to help guide you through the process.

How do I make an Appointment?

Please call us at 517-484-5062 during normal business hours to schedule or change an appointment for either location. If you get our voice mail during normal business hours, (we are helping other individuals) please leave us a message with your name and a return phone number and we will return your call as soon as we are able.

Fill out the online request form in its entirety to ensure that we have all the information needed to schedule your appointment. Once you submit your online request, you will receive an email asking you to verify and confirm your appointment. You MUST complete this step to hold the requested date and time.

Do you participate with my insurance?

We do help assist you with your possible insurance coverage. Many insurances cover under durable/medical equipment also HSA or FSA.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Please call our office at 517-484-5062 or email info@anotherlookonline.com to cancel or reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. A charge of $25.00 will be assessed for anyone who misses a scheduled appointment without a 24-hour prior notice.

How do I purchase more products if I need them?

To purchase additional products please visit our website at www.another lookonline.com to place your order. You may also call 517-484-5062 to place an order or stop in to see us during normal business hours.

If I have questions about the services or products I have received, whom should I talk to?

Any one of our staff members here (Laurie, Carrie, Kaity, or Annie) can assist you. If they are unable to help, they know who can! We offer 2 week follow-up appointments after your 1st final fit of any product. Don’t forget to schedule your appointment with us.

Will my Hair Loss restore after my baby?

Yes. It is very common to lose hair after childbirth. The hair should restore and grow as before.

Can home remedies grow my hair back?

A healthy, nutritious diet is a great place to start; vitamins and iron deficiencies can be detrimental, so eating a variety of vitamin-rich foods is one of the best home remedies.

Is it normal to lose hair everyday?

Yes. The average person sheds between 60-100 hairs a day. If you’re continuously noticing more significant hair loss, our trained professionals can help you determine your level of hair loss and what you can do about it.

Why do you have 2 locations?

We have 2 locations to specialize in multiple types of hair loss. Our hospital location allows us the privacy and expertise of medically related hair loss with full cranial prosthetics, hat, turban, and product solutions for it. Our spa location gives us the space to enhance one's image with a variety of addition, treatment, laser, product and system options.

How long do hair systems last?

The longevity of different systems are determined by the client's lifestyle, activity level, and attachment option. Human hair systems can last 3 months to a year, cyber hair systems can last one to two years.


Can I wear my new hair system when I sleep, ride rollercoasters, swim in the ocean, or ride in a convertible?

Yes, all activity levels can handle a system, we have attachment options for your degree of lifestyle.

Do you have products to help camouflage thinning areas?

Yes, we have water soluble products that act as a color on the scalp to hide hair loss.
